A Richland County Deputy struck a pedestrian while responding to a call on Bush River Road Thursday night.
The report said around 10 p.m. a deputy responding to a fight in progress call struck a pedestrian while pulling into a parking lot. Deputies say the pedestrian was hit in the leg.
According to sheriff's deputies, the victim was transported to Palmetto Richland Hospital for evaluation, no word on the extent of injuries.
