Photo Gallery | Police: 7 arrested during special street level operation

The Columbia Police Department's Proactive Community Enforcement Team, (P.A.C.E.) team arrested seven individuals during a special street level operation throughout the City of Columbia.

On Feb. 22 - 23, the PACE team proactively patrolled the streets of Columbia in search of criminal activity inside various neighborhoods.

Police say some of the neighborhoods affected during the sweeps included the Metro, North and South Regions communities.

The unit also assisted the South Region in Five Points during the busy hours. The unit's ZERO Tolerance to criminal activity led to several arrest during the two day operation.

Arrested were: Chappell, Kenny R. for a DUS Active Warrant, Green, John F. SPMJ & Open CONT, Singleton, Christopher SPMJ 2nd, Robinson, James Y. SPMJ, Williams, Audra L, Open CONT, & DUS 2nd, Williams, Kelvin J, SPMJ & Harsey, Stephen DUS 2nd. All subjects arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
