Photo Gallery | Suspects break into church building, steal leaf blower
Richland County Sheriff’s Department is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying suspects wanted for burglary.
The report said between 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13 and 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 14, two unknown suspects broke into a building behind the church located at 1136 Antioch Amez Church by prying open the door. According to Sheriff Leon Lott, the victim noticed that the leaf blower had been stolen. It is described as a red and white Troy Built leaf blower.
The suspects returned to the church on January 28, and stole the air conditioning unit, the report stated.
Sheriff Lott says the vehicle used is possibly a blue or grey Ford Ranger pickup truck which was captured along with the suspects on surveillance video.
Suspect number one (driver) is described as a white male and the suspect number two (passenger) is described as a black male.
