COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) – Two men were arrested after hitting multiple cars Tuesday night as they were being pursued by deputies according to a spokesperson with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.

Curtis Wilson says officers spotted a stolen car and attempted to pull it over.

Wilson says during the pursuit the two suspects, later identified as 20-year-old Tarrence Douglas and 35-year-old Earl Hunter, failed to stop and hit a Dodge Caliber with the stolen car.

The two suspects continued on, according to Wilson, and hit another vehicle before the pursuit came to an end near Two Notch road and Taylor Street.

Douglas was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The two people in the Caliber were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Wilson.

Douglas and Hunter are now being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

Among their charges is failure to stop for blue light and resisting arrest.
