The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for larceny.

According to deputies, around 2:00 PM on May 19, deputies responded to a larceny call at 7460 Two Notch Road (Pitt Stop).

Deputies say an unknown suspect stole money from the business.

The victim told officers that when the cash drawer opened, the suspect reached over and stole a handful of money and fled the business.

Video surveillance equipment captured the suspect entering and exiting the store.

The suspect was described as a male, approximately 6 feet tall, thin build, wearing an orange T-shirt, brown shorts, and black shoes.
