Columbia Photo Gallery | FBI looking for driver who may have witnessed cross-burning

The FBI is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying the owner/driver of a two tone pickup truck that was captured on surveillance camera leaving the scene of a cross burning.

The FBI says the owner/driver of the truck may have information or witnessed a crime that occurred around 4:15 a.m. in the down town area of Columbia on October 21.

According to a report, the driver may have seen the suspect(s) that burned a cross in the yard of a house located on Gervais Street.

Official say the truck appears to be a burgundy and silver older model pickup, dated between the years of 1988 and 1998, with a chrome tool box in the bed of the pickup.

If you have any information about this crime or can identify the owner/driver of the vehicle, you are urged to contact Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
