Photo Gallery | PHOTOS: A look inside the Governor's Mansion

The Governor’s Mansion opened its doors to the public Monday evening.

Governor Nikki Haley, First Gentleman Michael Haley and the First Family hosted a special holiday open house from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to show off their Christmas decoration.

The Columbia Garden Club, which has decorated the Governor’s Mansion for Christmas every year since 1981, began decorating the Governor's Mansion last week, when the Governor’s Mansion received three live Christmas trees from the South Carolina Christmas Tree Growers Association and poinsettias grown by Future Farmers of America from Lexington Technology Center.

The Haley children, Rena and Nalin, will help decorate the tree displayed in the Charleston Garden.

If you missed Monday’s open house, guests can still tour the mansion to see the holiday decorations December 11-13 and 18-20 at 10:00 AM, 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM.

The tour is free of charge, reservation only.

Anyone interested in scheduling a tour should call Nancy Bunch at (803) 737-1710.
