The Pole Dance America Competition is making its second visit to Columbia to crown both Ms. South & North Carolina Champions on May 26 at the Marriott Hotel on Hampton St.

More than 15 ladies across both states coming together to earn a spot in the regional competition with a chance the become the first Pole Dance America Champion. 

Pole dancing has quickly become a household name in fitness, according to organizers, and over the past 5 years pole dance studios have been opening up all across the country.

MC Healthcare Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides free healthcare screening, fitness classes and seminars for low income communities. The organization has created a gymnastic/dance competition that showcases the real athleticism that comes with vertical pole. No other competition in the world showcases the art form of pole dancing.
