Oldest living deputy dies at 90

One of Richland County’s oldest living deputies has passed away.

According to Sheriff Leon Lott, Retired Deputy Charles E. Brooks died on Sunday.

Mr. Brooks recently celebrated his 90th birthday in January. Lott says Brooks was one of the oldest living deputies.
