On February 12, Heathwood Hall will host Providence Day in one of the year's premier basketball matchups!
In the Boys' matchup, Providence Day (22-6, 6-1 CISAA) will travel to Columbia to face on the 2012 SCISA State Runner-Up & 2011 State Champion Heathwood Hall Highlanders. The Chargers are led by junior Davidson commit Jordan Watkins (16.1 PPG, 3.2 SPG), and Duke football signee Bryon Fields, while the Highlanders will look to counter with senior SCISA Player-Of-The-Year candidate Bradley Singleton (14.0 PPG, 7.8 RPG) and fellow Duke football signee Gabe Brandner.
On the Girls' side, two of the nation's top-15 prospects in the Class of 2014 will be featured in the contest as Providence Day's Jatarie White (#12 in the espnW HoopGurlz Super 60) leads the Lady Chargers against Heathwood Hall's A'ja Wilson (#1 -- espnW HoopGurlz Super 60) and the Lady Highlanders.
The Varsity Boys will begin at 6:00, with the Girls' contest starts at 7:30PM.
