COLUMBIA, SC (WIS)- Columbia Police have arrested a man accused of making methamphetamine at an area hotel Friday night.

31-year-old Thomas Allen Pendarvis, Jr. is charged with manufacturing methampetamine. He was arrested Friday night at the Extended Stay on Kinley Road.

Pendarvis is accused of making meth inside a plastic bottle.

Officers evacuated the immediate area around the hotel room as a precaution. A private company was called in to clean up the debris.

Officers from SLED assisted Columbia Police in the arrest.

Nobody was injured.
