LUGOFF, SC (WIS) - A Lugoff man has a new Dodge Challenger parked in his driveway thanks to a losing ticket with the South Carolina Education Lottery.
Allan Speicher won the car by entering the lottery's Muscle Car Money scratch-off ticket in the second-chance promotion. The lottery selected Speicher's $5 ticket from more than 200,000 entries received. Alleen Britton of Columbia was the other winner chosen by the lottery.
The 41-year-old Speicher won his choice of muscle cars. Britton chose a Dodge Charger.
“I still don’t believe it,” Speicher said. “Now I know that people really do win.”
Lottery players in Simpsonville and Graniteville have won two other cars through the scratch-off game. The SC Education Lottery says there is still time to enter non-winning Muscle Car Money tickets in the final drawing for another vehicle and $100,000 grand prize.
