Man forced out of vehicle, robbed | Crime
RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) – A man was robbed outside a home in lower Richland County while he was waiting for his friend, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
The incident happened around 8:30 Sunday night when the victim says he was waiting outside a home on Corbett Street (4500) near Bluff Road, according to deputies. The victim says while he was waiting four black males pulled up in a gray Dodge Neon and forced him out of his car.
When the victim got out of the car, a fight ensued, according to deputies. The man inside the home noticed what was happening and came out to help, according to the sheriff’s department. One of the suspects then pulled out a gun and demanded that the victims “give it up", according to investigators.
The victims gave the suspects their belongings including keys and wallets before the four suspects fled the scene in a gray Dodge Neon.
The sheriff’s department says the suspect who pulled the gun on the victims is described as a light skinned black male, between the ages of 25 and 28. He was wearing a blue shirt and blue pants.
