Deputies seek suspect who robbed man pumping gas | Crime
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a man wanted for armed robbery.
The report said just before10:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, deputies responded to the Kangaroo Express located on Rosewood Drive in reference to an armed robbery.
Deputies say the suspect approached the victim, as he was filling up his car with gas, and demanded money.
The suspect then pulled out a handgun and said “give me your money,” the report stated.
Deputies say the victim gave the suspect all he had, and the suspect fled the area on foot.
Video surveillance captured the suspect walking into the business prior to the robbery.
According to sheriff’s deputies, the suspect was wearing a dark skull cap with blue jeans, blue shirt, dark jacket, black tennis shoes with a white base on them.
