Citizens Learn the ABC's of County Government | Community Spirit

On Tuesday, November 20th, twelve (12) Richland County residents proudly celebrated their graduation after completing five (5) weeks of the 2012 fall session of Richland 101. 

The citizens learned how the county spends their tax dollars; toured the county jail and other facilities; and learned about land use growth and public safety.

Richland County Council recognized the graduates and presented each one of them with a certificate of completion.  

Several citizens said that the class helped them understand the county’s departments at a deeper level and encouraged other residents to take advantage of the opportunity of learning about Richland County government.
