City of Columbia and Richland School District One to hold “Together We Can Read” | Community Spirit

The City of Columbia and Richland School District One will hold the fourth annual “Together We Can Read” initiative on Thursday, February 23, 2012.  “Together We Can Read”, a reading day program to encourage children to read, brings our local businesses and community leaders in the classrooms of our students. 

Officials from the City of Columbia and Richland School District One, as well as local celebrities, will be reading to all third grade classes in Richland One on Thursday, February 23 at 9am.  There are over1800 third grade students in Richland District One.
