Affordable Care Act forum for small business owners | Business
COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The City of Columbia is helping small business owners navigate the Affordable Care Act with a forum Thursday morning.
The forum is from 9 - 11 a.m. at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on Lincoln Street.
Business owners with five or more employees can learn about the benefits, opportunities and requirements of the Affordable Care act. The panel includes representatives from health insurance companies, attorneys and financial advisors. Among the questions they can answer:
- What does the Affordable Care Act do and not do for small businesses?
- What will be the impacts on small businesses in South Carolina?
- How can small business owners save more money?
- What are the opportunities for small businesses in South Carolina?
